Billing Rates and Payment Terms

What will this cost you and how do you pay me? That’s a logical question. Here are some answers.

Billing rates:

Charges are by the hour. Rates are $85 for the first hour (1 hour minimum) (that’s the first hour ever that we work together, not the first hour every time we work together), $65 for each additional hour. Time keeping is rounded up in 15 minute increments.

If we are meeting in person for a one-off session I will expect payment in full when we wrap up.

If you are enlisting me for an on-going project such as creating a new site or rebuilding an existing site I will give you an estimate on how many hours it will take and establish payment arrangements. Expect to pay 50% in advance and the rest over time or upon completion depending on how long the project will take.

Group rates:

If I am teaching WordPress to a group of people billing is by the hour, $85 for the first hour (1 hour minimum), $65 for each additional hour, for the first person. Each additional person adds $50 per hour for each hour, including the first. Time keeping is rounded up in 15 minute increments.

Payment terms:

If we are meeting in person: cash or personal check unless other arrangements are made.

Bitcoin is accepted if arranged in advance.

For remote clients: Check sent by snail mail or PayPal. When paying via PayPal there is an additional $5 fee for each PayPal payment.

Follow up support:

Clients can send me an email for follow up assistance at any time. I’ll get back to you soon as I reasonably can.
